WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

The wine displays a lustrous, profound purple-red color with a bold bouquet of plum and briar fruit, peppery spice, and loam, while the abundant palate reveals cherry, raspberry, plum, tangy lingonberry, and juicy red apple flavors complemented by elegant French oak tannins with notes of sandalwood and toasted bread, and the combination of Syrahs earthy, hoisin-like character and Petite Sirahs peppery spice adds savory depth to the wild berry compote flavors of Zinfandel and Grenache, all harmoniously unified by the continuity of French oak.
TASTING NOTES:
Ripe and fruit-driven, with dark berries, plums, sweet spices and a touch of earth on the nose. The palate is full-bodied with smooth tannins and a rounded texture, giving flavors of blackberries, cocoa and vanilla. Generous and approachable, with a soft finish.
