Fresh and juicy Barolo which has a well deserved Silver medal from Decanter. Delicious garnet red in colour with a fragrant, berry fruit body.
In the glass
Plenty of wild berry fruit on the nose, dominated by ripe blackberry and cherry aromas. 30 year old vines are hand harvested and all the flavour of the nebbiolo grape and the local terroir is evident in the balance, elegance and soft, silky tannins.
How it’s made
Piemonte in Italy is home to the Barbera grape, that goes into this classic red. Hand harvests and a very short time in oak bring depth and character to the wine without too much heaviness. The Bosio family have a reputation for both quality and value in producing easy to drink Piemonte classics in the heart of the region using a combination of modern and traditional wine making methods.
