Stagg Jr. Batch 16 is a 130.9 Proof (65.45% ABV) small batch bourbon produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. This Summer 2021 release represents the final batch to officially carry the “Junior” moniker on the label before the brand transitioned to the simplified Stagg branding. It is composed of barrels matured for approximately 8 to 9 years within the distillerys historic Kentucky rickhouses.

Utilizing the low rye Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1 recipe, this expression is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered to preserve the original barrel oils and esters. The profile is characterized by bold layers of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and the signature Stagg cherry that transition into a long finish of toasted oak and warming cinnamon.
