Booker’s “Teresa’s Batch” Bourbon 2019-01

Teresa Wittemer has been working at Booker’s for 30 years and has come to know every bottling of Bookers through and through with her combination of rigorous science and excellent tasting. This bottle is named in her honor, and we are pretty tickled to see a bottle named after an employee working at the distillery today rather than the more typical naming of historical figures or brand founders. This is an ode to an intrepid team member, someone who is a part of the Bookers family and never had a chance to put her name on the product, until now. The Batch is made up of three different production dates, resulting in a sweet nose with light oak and vanilla, and chestnut with caramel on the palate. The finish is nice and spicy.
