About the Distillery

Nestled on the remote Hebridean island of Raasay between Skye and the Scottish mainland, Isle of Raasay Distillery has built a reputation for bold, terroir-driven single malts since opening in 2017. The island’s wild, windswept character is woven into every drop.

Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish

This peated expression has been matured and finished in a single Bordeaux red wine cask, marrying the distillery’s signature island peat smoke with the deep, brooding influence of French oak and red wine. The result is a whisky of extraordinary complexity smoke and fruit in perfect tension, with a richness that only a single cask can deliver.

Tasting Notes
