2019 Rocca Di Montegrossi Geremia Toscano

95 Points – Vinous: The 2019 Geremia is packed with dark blue/purplish fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, scorched earth and graphite. This potent Merlot packs quite the punch. Even with all of its intensity, the 2019 remains vibrant and full of energy.
Estate Notes: Hand-harvested. Fermented on indigenous yeasts in upright wooden fermentation tanks. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels (80%) and tonneaux (20%), with 8% new oak and the rest between 1-4 years old. Aged in bottle for 24 months. Unfiltered. 71% Merlot and 29% Cabernet Sauvignon.
