MCR block, so named by Mockingbird Hill due to its proximity to McRae
Wood Road. Characterised by shallow grey & red loam over the slate rock and
surrounded by beautiful old blue gums, Mockingbird Hill has produced
the most intense & characterful wines.

Deep ruby in colour with vibrant purple hues.
Aromatic lift of dark cherry, blackberry and cracked pepper.
The palate is medium-bodied, showing plum, cocoa and subtle savoury spice.
Fine tannins and bright Clare Valley acidity carry a long, fresh finish.”
