William Grant established Glenfiddich Distillery in 1886, built it with the help of his family and Glenfiddich has spent its entire working life prospering in the ownership of subsequent generations of the Grant family. Glenfiddich Distillery is situated in the heart of Scotlands Speyside whisky region and being equipped with twenty-eight stills the distillery has more operational stills than most other malt whisky distillery in the world.
