Distilled in 2008, this exceptional rum is crafted from molasses and fermented for 34 days before being distilled in a multi-column still. It spent 13 tropical years maturing in 200L bourbon casks in Belize City, developing depth and richness under the Caribbean sun. The journey continued with 2 additional years of continental ageing in 350L Ferrand casks in Javrezac, France, where it gained refined complexity. Bottled at 48.3% ABV, this rum is a bold and elegant expression of time, terroir, and tradition.
NOSE Opens on very old bourbon notes with intense and spicy cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, roasted almonds, leather, cocoa, honey and banana.
PALATE Citrus and pear, caramel, coconut, pepper, cloves, licorice and tobacco.
FINISH Dried fruits, cherry, vanilla, coffee and gentle vegetal notes.
