Jart-Elle Oude Kriek(ABV 6.3%) fromLambiek Fabriekis a traditional blend of spontaneously fermented lambics of different vintages, matured with cherries in oak barrels for six months.

Ruby red in color, it offers aromas of sour cherry, barnyard funk, and oak. Taste follows the nose, and the finish is dry. Bottle aging will develop its complexity over years to come. Bottling date: 01/2022. Best before: 20 years after bottling.

Brewery Information:

Lambiek Fabriekis a lambic brewery and blendery founded by Jo Panneels and Jozef Van Bosstraeten in 2016 in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. It is named for the street (“Fabriekstraat”) where their first lambic blending facility was located. Their motto is “No Brett, No Glory!” referring to the Brettanomyces yeast strains that give their highly-rated lambics funk and complexity.
