Legendre Herbsaint

Herbsaint is an anise flavored liqueur created by J. Marion Legendre in New Orleans during the 1930s as a replacement for absinthesince it was banned in America. Despite the ban being lifted, the liqueur remains popular today and is still used in the New Orleans recipe for a Sazerac cocktail.
