Allt-a-Bhainne

Allt-a-Bhainne opened in 1975 to the south west of Dufftown beside the Allt-a-Bhainne Burn to supply light, heathery malt whisky to Chivas blends including Chivas Regal. No official distillery bottling and only a small number of independent ones.

NOSE: Opens with a gristy sweet quality and develops to crushed sugar & fruit jelly.
PALATE: Ripe peaches initially then running to barley sugar & sweet oranges.
FINISH: Medium long still sweet before an attractively spiced vanilla style appears.
