First passed in 1897, the Bottled-in-Bond Act is a crucial piece of quality control that defines the whiskey industry. For a bourbon to be labeled bonded or bottled-in-bond, it must adhere to this prominent American legislation. The Act states a whiskey must be aged in a United States federally bonded barrelhouse for a minimum of four years, bottled at 100 proof, and be the product of one distillery and one distilling season.

This liquid is spicy and fruity in aroma, with notes of lightly toasted oak, maple and nutmeg on the palate, ending with a sweet butterscotch finish. Try in your next Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

Palate: Medium-bodied and silky. Flavours of cinnamon roll, vanilla, and burnt sugar surface first, balanced by maple sweetness, nutmeg warmth, and subtle berry accents (orange/raspberry)

Finish: Long and warming: rye spice and brown sugar linger alongside mild walnut tannins and dry, charred oaka satisfying close with enduring spice
