S.M.O.S. Lowland 13 Year Reserve Parcel #7

Seeking out the finest casks of Scotch whisky has always been at the heart of the team’s philosophy. Since 2002, these have been released as The Single Malts of Scotland, a range of superb vintage single malt Scotch whiskies selected for their individual quality and character. Elixir Distillers has not revealed which distillery this Lowlander comes from. It was distilled in 2007 and is a vatting of three casks: 2 bourbon barrels and 1 Sherry butt.

Nose: Robust nose with some citrus and raisins. Strawberry, dark fruits and vanilla.

Palate:Subtle citrus with pronounced grapefruit, creamy toffee and stone fruits.

Finish: Medium longand startssweet but suddenly shows a very salty touch.
