Producers Background:

The Dolin legacy began in 1815 with Joseph Chavasse, who drew upon the abundance of Alpine plants to craft liqueurs and, later, in 1821, vermouth. By 1830, the family had settled in Chambry, where the tradition of Vermouth de Chambry was established. In 1843, Louis-Ferdinand Dolin married into the family and lent his name to the brand. Since 1919, the Sevez family has carried forward the Dolin tradition, preserving recipes and methods that have remained unchanged for nearly two centuries. Today, Dolin remains the last authentic producer of Vermouth de Chambry, staying faithful to the terroir, local sourcing, and craftsmanship that define its heritage.
