WhistlePig Snout to Tail is a 10-year straight bourbon that puts a creative twist on finishing. After aging for a decade, its given a secondary maturation in custom barrels designed with two distinctly toasted barrel heads. One end uses a Vermont oak medium toast (snout), and the other features a smoked maple wood toast (tail). The barrels are rotated to draw character from both ends, layering extra richness and toasted depth onto the bourbons natural core. Expect a smooth, dessert-leaning profile with notes that can suggest caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and warm baking spice, followed by a lingering, cozy finish.
