The Macallan 39 Year Old 1978 Fine & Rare

While theres surely no need for a special introduction of The Macallan, not many people know The Macallan mostly produced malts for blends until the 1980s when they started to focus on their Single Malt brand. What happened to the older high-quality releases? Well, these bottles are one of the most sought-after collectables on the market today.

Launched in 2002, The Fine and Rare Series was released to offer the best Macallan vintages, dating as far back as to 1926. This particular offering is 39 years old. It was distilled back in 1978 and bottled in 2018 from remade, refill cask No. 13810. A pretty special Macallan, if you ask us.
