The Altus 25 Year Old is crafted using Scotlands tallest stills, with the name “Altus” derived from Latin for “high.” Matured first in bourbon casks and finished in Malmsey Madeira wine casks, the process is inspired by Glenmorangies 1995 Madeira Wood Finish.

The Altus reveals a luxurious, velvety profile with a fragrant bouquet of carnation, rose, orange blossom, and honey. These floral notes meld seamlessly with the richness of ripe peach, vanilla, almond, and a hint of nutty toffee.

On the palate, this 25-year-old whisky presents flavors of mandarin, apple, pear, and peach, balanced by tart gooseberry and yellow plum. Additional notes include sweet butter candy, soft oak, marzipan, icing sugar, and ripe banana. The finish is long and smooth.
