Origins & Craftsmanship

Domaine de Cristia, based in Courthzon, in the southern Rhne, is run by the Grangeon family, who have worked their estate since the 1950s. Their vineyards, certified organic since 2008, sit on sandy and alluvial soils that lend a lighter, more elegant frame to their wines.

The 2023 Ctes du Rhne is vinified with Grenache as a key component, complemented by Syrah (and possibly other Rhne varieties) to bring structure and spice.The grapes are vinified in stainless tanks or neutral vessels to preserve purity and freshness, with limited oak influence, letting the fruit and terroir speak clearly.
