This special barrel has been on the radar of regulars at the distillery for several months. PCBB group leadership first sampled it during a fill your own bottle experience, and knew quickly it was a special 95/5 Rye. This 9 yr MGP is a bright, fruit forward punch of citrus and warm rye spice that makes for an ideal summer sipper.

Nose: Red Apple, lemon, pear, nectarine, sweet tea, orange rind, brown sugar, maple, graham cracker, vanilla sweet cream, nutmeg, and oak.

Palate: Honey crisp apple, orange and lemon citrus, honey, English Breakfast Tea, graham cracker pie crust, maple, vanilla bean, brown sugar, caramel drizzle, spearmint, and sweet oak.

Finish: Apple, apricot, citrus, black tea, raw honey, maple, vanilla extract, caramel chews, nutmeg, black peppercorn, and mature barrel oak with a subtle cooling mint.
