And theirfamous velvet bagsembracing each bottle are collected andre-usedby their legion of raving fans.
By our last count, Crown Royal has a seventeen varieties in their current lineup that might still be available here and there. But Crown Royal Canadian Whisky is the dram at the center of it all. It was first created in 1939 to celebrate the royal visit of King George VI. But the quality of the blend was so good and the edition was so popular that it remained and became the central identifying brand of the entire company. This is a blend of 50different Whiskies that are famously combined “like baking a cake” to craft the signature profile. The exact mix of mash bills and ages is left unknown and the Canadians are too polite to ask. But by law, all of them must be aged at least three years.
