El Dorado 12 Year is blended from marques produced by the EHP Wooden Coffey and Metal Coffey Stills at the Diamond Distillery two of the world’s most historic distillation vessels. These stills contribute a distinctive esoteric richness and explosive fruit character that sets this rum apart.
The 12 Year is the most approachable and fruit-forward of the El Dorado aged range, with a lighter body and brighter tropical fruit profile. The 15 Year adds earthy complexity from the Port Mourant still, while the 21 Year achieves the deepest, most velvety and cognac-like character of the three.
Demerara rum is produced in the Demerara region of Guyana using molasses from local sugar cane. It is known for its rich, full-bodied character and complex flavors shaped by the tropical aging climate and the region’s unique historic distillation equipment.
Excellent neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. It shines in a classic Rum Punch, a Dark & Stormy, or a Daiquiri where its fruit-forward character can take center stage.
