Highland Park 15 Year Old Fire Whisky, 70 cl

Highland Park Fire is the follow up to Highland Park Ice and is the second in Highland Park’s series celebrating Viking legends. A 15 year old whisky, it is aged entirely in refill port casks, this is lightly smoky with notes of dried citrus peel, vanilla and a fruity spiciness.

Product Description

It was Magnus Eunson who founded Highland Park, back in 1798. Much is made of his Viking heritage around the distillery and there is little doubt that, being based on Orkney some 16km north of the Scottish mainland, that the climate is certainly pretty wild being surrounded by stormy seas. Despite its remoteness though, the temperature is relatively steady across the year (rarely varying out of between 2 and 16 degrees) which is perfect for maturing whisky.
