Distillery Information
Trapiche is one of the largest wine producers in Argentina. It producers a diverse portfolio of wines sourced from estate vineyards as well as contract growers scattered throughout Mendoza. The company’s historty began in 1883 in a small vineyard called el Trapiche in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza. Over the years, Trapiche has been a pioneer in multiple facets of the Argentian wine industry. This has included involvement in the introduction of French vines, the production of varietal wines, the import of French oak barrels and the use of stainless steel tanks. It was also a pioneer on the international market, winning its first award in Paris in 1889.
