Distillery Information
“Glen Elgin distillery, founded in 1898, was the last distillery built during a boom period and faced early struggles, including closures shortly after opening due to a market crash. It was sold multiple times, but became part of the White Horse blend, leading to major renovations in 1964 and 1992 that increased its capacity and modernized operations while retaining some traditional features.”
