Nose: Fruitsalad sweetness, figs, walnut, grilled nectarines, buttered wholemeal toast.

Palate: Cherry fruit leather, toast, butter, orchard fruit and subtle oak spice.

Finish: Caramel, dark chocolate, orange peel, nutmeg and lingering warm wood.

Distillery Information

Cadenheads, Scotlands oldest independent bottler, established in 1842, specialises in unique and smallbatch releases under labels like Enigma where the exact distillery is undisclosed (hence Enigma). This particular Lowland release originates from the Lowland region but the distillery remains unnamed. It demonstrates Cadenheads focus on firstfill quality barrels, nonchill filtration and expressive cask maturation. The 11yearold Lowland sherrycask bottling is part of their 2025 release schedule and is designed for enthusiasts of independent bottlings and lesserknown regional malt profiles.
