Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Four Grain Batch 2 is a 92.4 Proof (46.2% ABV) high-intent Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced at the Woodford Reserve Distillery (DSP-KY-11). This rare 2006 release was one of the inaugural expressions in the Masters Collection, featuring a technical four-grain mash bill of corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. Unlike the standard distillery output, this spirit was crafted exclusively using copper pot distillation and matured for 9 years in American white oak barrels.
The non-chill filtered liquid offers a profile characterized by notes of citrus, maple syrup, and toasted nuts. The palate features a balance of dry spice and seasoned oak tannins, leading into a finish of cinnamon and vanilla. This 2006 release represents an early experimental expression from the distillery’s pot-still production.
