Oslavje is named for the village of Oslavia in Friuli, where Radikons estate vineyards lie on ponca (marl and sandstone) soils. The 2020 vintage blends Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio, all from organically farmed old vines. Grapes are harvested by hand and undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, followed by an extended maceration on the skins (814 days). The wine is aged for about 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels, then bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulfur in Radikons signature 1-liter bottles.
The result is a richly aromatic wine showing notes of orange zest, dried herbs, almond skin, and beeswax. The texture is firm and phenolic, yet the wine remains balanced by fresh acidity and saline drive.
