Les Luchets is a lieu-dit located just below the forest line west of Meursault village, where higher elevation and deeper limestone soils lend brightness and minerality to the fruit. The 2023 vintage, marked by clarity and balance, plays perfectly to the strengths of this site, offering a wine with finesse, purity, and length.
Organically farmed and harvested by hand, the fruit is fermented with native yeasts and aged in French oak barrels (mostly used, with only a modest proportion new) for 1215 months, followed by a period in tank before bottling. Roulot’s signature styleno btonnage, minimal sulfur, and no filtrationlets the terroir speak with quiet confidence. Luchets is often among the most mineral and racy of Roulots village Meursaults, making it ideal for seafood, poultry with citrus, or simply enjoyed for its precision and grace.
