About APW: Ass Pocket Whiskey (APW) was created out of Derek Trucks love for brown spirits and his frustration with the growing trend of whiskey as a collectible meant to sit unopened on a shelf. Historically, in Delta juke joints, a small flask of whiskey was often referred to as an ass pocket something you kept on you so you could enjoy it wherever you were. APW draws from that tradition, positioning whiskey as something meant to be carried and consumed.

Offered in a premium 200ml flask format, APW is designed for real life and real occasions, from concerts and festivals to tailgates and tee-times. The smaller format removes the pressure to never crack open a full-sized bottle, making it easier for drinkers to enjoy high-quality bourbon on their own terms. As Derek puts it, APW exists so people can have their whiskey and drink it too.

Tasting Notes: The nose opens with fresh-baked apple strudel with candy icing, wisps of nutmeg, and caraway. The palate brings toasted marshmallow, sugar maple, cocoa, and molasses cookie. The finish lingers with avena con leche, an oaky campfire note, and overripe blueberries.
