This glorious writing instrument depicts the expedition of epic proportions – that of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. This duo became the first of their nation to reach the Pacific Ocean by land. Thomas Jefferson predicted, “would fill up the canvas we begin”. The success of Lewis and Clark’s expedition became an integral part of American History.

Now you can have a piece of that history in the David Oscarson Meriwether Lewis limited Edition Roller Ball featuring Meriwether Lewis’ signature in high relief surrounded by a background of river currents underneath. A map of the Louisianan Purchase marking the Lewis and Clark’s Trail from St. Louis, Missouri to Fort Clatsop, Oregon is also depicted on this handsome writing tool. The cap features a telescope clip and a compass rose engraved on the barrel. This collection was created by employing the expertise of Gulloche engraving and the mastery of Hard Enamel. Only 100 pieces were produced in both fountain pens and rollerballs. The translucent ruby red hard enamel with gold vermeil is sophisticated and handsome.
