1895 Coleccin Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Argentina / Mendoza Paying tribute to the founding year of Bodega Norton, the 1895 Coleccin wines capture the spirit of Argentina. Each wine in the collection showcases fresh, approachable styles meant for everyday enjoyment. The Cabernet Sauvignon offers a unique high-altitude expression combining ripe red and black fruit flavors with smooth, ripe tannins. HARVEST NOTE 2021 was a challenging but rewarding vintage. Early frost reduced potential yields by nearly 25% while late summer rains delayed harvest and threatened rot. Warm and dry days in March wrapped up an otherwise cool vintage, restoring balance to the wines. The skilled viticultualists at Bodega Norton were rewarded with wines of freshness and concentration with moderate alcohol levels. TASTING NOTE Lively ruby red color. Concentrated aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, strawberries and cassis. Very good structure, balanced tannins, and a long finish.
