Made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from selected vineyards in Stellenbosch, including Fijnbosch Estate (43%), Nooitgedacht (37%), Limoenkloof (10%) and Zetler (10%), grown on ancient, weathered granite and sandstone-derived soils that contribute power and structure. The 2023 season was mild and dry, resulting in smaller berries and concentrated fruit, while a cool ripening period preserved freshness. The wine was fermented and matured for 10 months in French oak, with 30% new barrels, building texture and complexity while maintaining balance. Residual Sugar 2.2 g/L. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
TASTING NOTES

Palate: Broad yet controlled, with flavours of lemon drop, citrus peel and biscuit notes, supported by a creamy mid-palate texture and well-integrated oak.
Finish: Persistent and savoury, with saline, mouth-watering acidity providing lift and definition, and a finely textured structure carrying the wine through a long, elegant close.
