Compass Box Phenomenology

Released in late-2017, this limited edition Compass Box takes its name from Phenomenology, a school of thought in psychology that focuses on phenomena, or, the experiences that we get from our senses. Includes Glenlossie (72%), Tamdhu (24.5%), Highland Park (2%), Talisker (1%) and Caol Ila (0.5%). Limited release of 7,908 bottles. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.

Nose: Aromas and flavours reminiscent of berry fruits, baked apples and hints of banana.

Palate:Malt, touch of spice, lightly spiced toffee note, some dark chocolate, ginger, a little barrel char.

Finish:A delicate peaty-smokiness that follows and resonates in the long finish.
