Description: Dry wine made from the Chardonnay grape, grown in Chablis. The gruff chain-smoking, Bernard Billaud-Simon, makes lucid, transparent Chablis. The glass-fronted winery, is state-of-the-art and filled with gleaming stainless steel. The Chablis and most of his other wines are made in tanks, rather then barrels. Fruit aromas of apple, lemon and minerals. Medium-bodied palate with notes of citrus fruit and green apple. Round rich finish with well-balanced acidity, fruit and minerals.
