For over a century, Domaine des Trottires has cultivated an exceptional terroir ideally situated between the Coteaux du Layon and the fertile hills of Anjou, an emblematic vineyard of the Loire Valley. Located in the historic commune of Thouarc, and passionately and dedicatedly managed by the Lamotte family since 1985, the Domaine expresses in its 18 wines an exceptional vineyard with recognized and award-winning expertise. The meticulous work and commitment invested in each vintage allow for a subtle blend of tradition, terroir, and creativity. Our eight AOPs proudly attest to this: Anjou, Anjou Villages, Ros de Loire & d’Anjou, Cabernet d’Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, Bonnezeaux, and Crmant de Loire.

Tasting Notes
A deep colour, an intense nose with pronounced notes of candied apricot. The palate is intense and complex with candied fruit and spice. The acidity is a perfect balance to the sugar, with a long finish on the palate. Sweet, but not too sweet.
