The wine displays a beautiful red hue with subtle mauve highlights. Its ripe and fairly intense bouquet exudes notes of crunchy red fruit, particularly cherry, with well-integrated oak nuances. On the palate, the wine begins smoothly, unveiling excellent fruit flavors. It evolves gracefully, revealing a soft texture with ample but refined tannins that never overpower.

Chteau Quintus, part of the Domaine Clarence Dillon family of wines, pays homage to Saint-Emilion’s Gallo-Roman heritage by adopting the name Quintus, as was the custom of the era. The estate’s environmental focus lies in its Mediterranean Green Belt, fostering biodiversity within the estate’s woods and grounds.

Le Dragon de Quintus, the estate’s second wine, derives its name from the majestic dragon statue overlooking the vineyard’s enchanting terroir in Saint-Emilion, perched high upon the promontory where the estate is situated.
