Founded in 1846, Caol Ila masterfully combines tradition and modernity at one of Scotlands most remote locations its nestled in the cove in Port Askaig, which is on the tip of Islay. Overlooking the Sound of Islay, they get their raw materials by way of two steamers a week that drop it off and take their unique Whisky. There were only 304 bottles of this expression released, which makes it insanely rare. Light and sweet, this impressive Whisky slowly builds up spice and fills your mouth with smoke and an intense fruity sweetness. If only there were more bottles out there
