Glengoyne

Glengoyne Distillery was established as Burnfoot of Drumgoyne Distillery in 1833 by George Connel in Scotlands Highland whisky region although its warehouses rest across the road in the Lowland whisky region. All the malt is dried by hot air and so all Glengoyne whisky is unpeated and on site maturation is in sherry and bourbon casks in addition to some Japanese and Scottish oak casks. Glengoyne Distillery has a visitor centre and offers distillery tours.
