Imperial Yeast B45 Gnome – Limited Release Seasonal

Gnome is a fast-working Belgian ale yeast that produces bright, clear beers without the need for filtration. This highly flocculent strain drops out quickly after fermentation, leaving behind a clean presentation with a refined balance of delicate fruit esters and subtle spicy phenolics.

Its restrained ester profile allows both hops and malt character to shine, making it a versatile choice for Belgian-inspired styles that lean toward clarity, drinkability, and balance. Gnome pairs especially well with caramel and toffee malt flavors while still complementing modern hop-forward recipes.

Perfect strain for fermenting Belgian blondes, Belgian pale ales, Belgian IPAs, Belgian ambers, and other Belgian-style ales where clarity and quick turnaround are desired.
