L Encantada Armagnac 2005 17yo 700ml 50.2%

This is a vintage Armagnac bottled at cask strength (50.2% ABV) and aged for 17 years in a French oak barrel. It’s part of the L’Encantada Collection Renaissance, and this specific bottling is 1 of 310 made.

It’s made from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes grown in a damp cellar.

One review describes it as a “gourmet, fruity armagnac, with notes of exotic fruits, mango, pineapple and peach”.

Another tasting note mentions a nose of “delicate and complex, featuring ripe grapes intertwined with hazelnut and candied orange peel” and a palate of “full-bodied and spicy” with notes of coffee, cloves, and dark chocolate.
