The 2022 Mcon-Milly-Lamartine Clos du Four has a touch of reduction on the nose, but I like the flintiness that comes through on the aromatics with aeration. The palate is well-balanced, with a citric line of acidity, lime and orange pith, and a vibrant and persistent finish. One of my picks from the Domaine this vintage. (NM)(1/2024) 90 pointsVinous
The 2020 Mcon-Lilly-Lamartine was the last fruit to be picked in early September according to Dominique Lafon. It has a fresh, quite tensile bouquet with lemon curd and citrus peel, nicely defined and quite vigorous. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity and is lightly spiced with a tangy and quite persistent finish. Excellent. Closure: Diam. (NM)(11/2021)
