Maker’s Mark 46 Cask Strength

This limited release, previously only available in small quantities at the Maker’s Mark distillery, represents the purest expression of the bold taste that has made the company’s original Wood Finishing Series Bourbon so beloved. Its as close as you can get to sampling Makers Mark 46 right out of the barrel in the Maker’s Mark limestone cellar. This Limited Edition has been released to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Makers 46. This is the first time that the cask strength offering has been available outside of the distillery.

With the launch of Makers Mark 46 came the creation of the distillery’s Wood Finishing Series and an ever-growing list of Makers expressions. The result of finishing their signature bourbon with 10 seared virgin French oak staves, it has been a beloved addition to countless bar shelves for over a decade. In celebration, theyve bottled its uncut counterpart Makers Mark 46 Cask Strength. The original Makers Mark 46 is purposefully bottled at 94 proof to bring out the perfect combination of vanilla and baking spice that was ideal for Bill Jr.s taste vision. This special Makers Mark 46 Cask Strength Bourbon is bottled at barrel proof, offering stronger notes of caramel and dark, dried fruits like figs and raisins.
