Ruby red with purple hints. Deep fruity nose with stewed cherries and blueberries as well as floral overtones. Classic trademark black tea leaf aromas of Montepulciano. Structured, robust palate with a firm texture and smooth tannins.
How it’s made
TheDi Camillo family have been farming these lands near Chieti in Abruzzo for 6generations using sustainable, organic farming methods to produce wines that are known in the region for elegance and style. Traditionalmethods are used on the vines and in the winery – and the wine is aged for 6 months in the bottle. Really good value for a wine of this calibre.
