The Morand story began 20 years ago in 1996 with a plan to makegreat and innovative wines of the highest quality with grapes fromvineyards in Chiles most interesting wine valleys. In 2000 Empresas JuanYarur, one of Chiles most important and respected business groups, tookcontrol of the winery and formed Grupo Beln, which includes theMorand, Vistamar, Mancura, and Fray Leon wineries. We were pioneers in creating and planting vineyards in Casablanca.Today the valley enjoys great international prestige and has opened thedoor to other coastal vineyards in Chile. We were also the first to believein the great potential of the Maule Valley and the old, traditional varietiesseldom seen today, such as Carignan and Pas.
