Stphane Coquillettes NV Brut Carte d’Or is a Premier Cru Champagne crafted primarily from Chardonnay, with a touch of Pinot Noir, sourced from the prestigious villages of Chouilly, Cuis, and pernay. This cuve is based on a solera-style reserve wine system, lending depth and consistency across vintages. The wine is vinified in stainless steel to preserve purity and precision, and undergoes full malolactic fermentation for added roundness.

On the nose, it delivers lifted aromas of lemon blossom, green apple, and almond cream. The palate is finely etched and textured, showcasing yellow plum, white peach, and subtle chalkclassic signatures of the Cte des Blancs terroir. The dosage is carefully restrained, allowing the terroir and minerality to shine through.

Aged sur latte for 3 years before disgorgement, Carte d’Or offers both freshness and layered complexity, making it a versatile partner to oysters, grilled scallops, or aged cheeses like Comt.

Stphane Coquillette represents the fourth generation of his family to make Champagne, but since 2002, he has forged his own identity with an independent, terroir-driven approach. Working in Chouilly and surrounding Premier Cru villages, Coquillette farms sustainably, with minimal chemical intervention, favoring low yields and meticulous vineyard care.

In the cellar, his philosophy is one of restraint and transparencyno oak, minimal intervention, and a focus on purity. His Champagnes are known for their expressive fruit, tension, and elegant textures. As a grower-producer, Coquillette continues to push boundaries while remaining deeply respectful of Champagnes traditions, producing wines that speak with clarity of place and personality.
