Pinot Grigio, Frecciarossa 2023 (Lombardy, Italy)

Floral and savory, Frecciarossas Pinot Grigio is something different. Its bright and focused, yet textured, and seductive an excellent rebuttal to the somewhat bland and nondescript Pinot Grigios that seem to dominate restaurant menus. On the nose, notes of creamy meyer lemon curd, marzipan, and savory herbs give way to flavors of ripe pear, white flowers, and crushed almonds.
