Qui Rare Ghost Reserve Magnum

QUI RARE GHOST RESERVE The Magnum. 1.5L. Edition of Fifty.

An extra aejo distilled at a distllery that has gone quiet, by a maestro tequilero who has since passed. What was made is what will ever be. The liquid cannot be made again.

Eight years in American oak. Past the point most would bottle. Long on the nose, quiet at the back of the mouth the way a room carries someone after they’ve left.

Fifty magnums were allocated to the house’s VIP circle. 1.5 litres. Hand-cut crystal, leather-collared at the neck, sealed in a velvet case. Each magnum is numbered, N 01 through N 50.

The magnum is the ceremonial form of Ghost Reserve. It is the piece the house sends to the table it trusts. It is not reordered. It is not replaced.

After Ghost Reserve is gone, the name is finished. The next Rare expression is named its own name.
