This 2024 expression, spearheaded by master blender Ed Bley, utilizes a rare pot still wheated mash bill representing founding-era distillate from Smooth Ambler in West Virginia.

Originally distilled on a hybrid pot still that is no longer in production, the liquid matured for 11 to 14 years in new charred American oak before being hand-selected as part of a 15-barrel showcase. This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of burnt caramel, orange citrus, and peach, balanced by a deep undercurrent of dark chocolate, dry leather, and oak with a long, tannic finish of bitter pecans.
