Stags Leap Wine Cellars is one of Napa Valleys most historic and celebrated estates. Founded in 1970 by Warren Winiarski, the winery rose to international fame when its 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon won top honors at the 1976 Judgment of Paris, triumphing over some of Frances most prestigious Bordeaux wines. This landmark victory established Napa Valley as a world-class wine region and cemented Stags Leap Wine Cellars as a benchmark for elegant, estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, the portfolio includes the renowned S.L.V., FAY, and CASK 23, each reflecting the distinctive character of the Stags Leap District. In 2023, the Antinori family assumed full ownership, continuing the winerys legacy of excellence and tradition.
